First Principles, People Are Equal Under Natural Law

The following Elements of Natural Law are fundamental to the Citizens of the USA understanding the problems our Country (the USA) faces. And it may also be helpful in allowing the rank and file Citizens of other Countries in understanding the problems in theirs.

The fundamental understanding our US Founding Fathers had in drafting our constitution, is People under Natural Law have free will, and are not virtuous by nature. Therefore, governments must be constructed in anticipation of the nature of man. Acting on this knowledge, our Founding Fathers built into our Government and Constitution, various checks and balances.

Amongst these checks and balances were transparency and accountability. All of our problems today emanate from the slow, persistent rolling back of the checks and balances, transparency and accountability our Founding Fathers built into our Government and Constitution.
An explanation of the who, how, what and why can be found in the attached email that I fortuitously recently received.

The attached email and its included links, are another example of someone else saying something better than I could myself... I encourage the reader to follow the links to that email author's website for a fuller understanding of the underlying principles and out of respect for the author. It is important that we give credit where credit is due. Such free thinkers are likely undercompensated for giving us insight into the roots of the actual problem confronting our society and intuitive resolution there from.

Subject: First Principles, Men Are Equal Under God

What Would The Founders Think? has posted a new item, 'First Principles, Men Are
Equal Under God'

Cato letter Nos. 59-60 argue that man’s freedom is given by God, and that all
men are equal in His sight. Men, having been given free will, are not virtuous by nature and, acknowledging their imperfections, create governments so that they may live in safety and harmony together.

In the American Republic, the Founders said, that being the case, all men must
likewise be equal under the laws government creates. However, governments, being
creations of men, are also imperfect.
Cato prescribes a way to keep government
from exceeding its mandate and trampling on the liberties of the governed.
