I hope this Winter Holiday Season finds you and yours in Good Spirits and relative comfort.
This year, as we Americans gather to celebrate Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanzaa, Muharram, New Years and other cultural traditions, may I suggest we not dwell on what we have lost and/or endured in this past year. Rather, let us appreciate what we still have... family, friends and more. And let us instead ponder what it will take to restore our country to its previously unrivaled freedom, prosperity and status.
I would respectfully ask that those of a different faith not take offense to the title of this Article. It is so named to honor the religious beliefs of this Country's Founding Fathers. Further, until recently Christmas was a cultural tradition observed by the overwhelming majority of Americans. And lastly, this is the day upon which it is traditionally observed. At the same time, I would ask everyone to recognize that despite these differences in tradition, we Americans are more alike than we are different. It is only our external and internal enemies that point out and exacerbate our differences to divide and conquer us for their own selfish gains.
This Christmas Wish list is premised on the great effort that is going to be required to restore our country to its previous prosperity and world stature. For nearly 6 decades we have lived the good life with few hard sacrifices to be made. The generation that fought with our Founding Fathers and those generations that fought the civil war, the first World War, endured through the great depression, and then fought World War II, the cold war and the other wars too numerous to mention, all sacrificed so that succeeding American generations could live the American dream.
It is with that introduction that I reluctantly must inform you that ours is the next generation to be called upon to struggle and sacrifice to preserve the American dream for our children and future generations of Americans.......
